Overview

This Hidden Treasure Wallet is made from one piece of the highest quality full grain leather. The open faced snap offers a unique look being made out of high quality materials. It's minimalist design is very functional carrying 8+ cards plus cash folded twice.

I hand sew each wallet using waxed polyester thread utilizing the settle stitch method for very long lasting durability. This beautiful full grain leather (highest quality leather available) comes with character, showing the folds and marks naturally occurring on the animal. The unique beauty only gets better with age as a patina develops over time.

Rocado Shell Cordovan leather comes from Toscana, Italy. Rocado has been in business since 1982 and are one of the few remaining tanneries producing this special article. They are well known for their attention to detail, beautiful hides and rich colors. Rocado shell cordovan has a polished luster a nice subtle waxy feel. These combined with its dense, tight fibers lend lend itself to leather goods that need to withstand everyday wear and tear

Shell cordovan (or cordovan) is a rare, world-famous leather made of a specific layer of hide - "cordovan". The cordovan layer exists only in equine hides and has its maximum thickness on the rump area. One horse hide yields only two small oval pieces of cordovan - two shells. Using the centuries-old method of pure vegetable tannage and hand finishing, the tanning process takes a full six months to complete. The outcome is one of the world’s finest leathers and one that is highly coveted for its unmatched durability and wonderful patina.

Ritza Tiger Thread is made by the Danish Company Julius Koch. The company was founded in 1895. Ritza is a waxed, 100% polyester thread imported from Germany. The thread is finely braided, increasing its strength greatly. Ritza is lightly waxed, and will hold its shape and place while in use. This thread is known for its strength, durability, UV resistance and its perfect pairing with leather.

Hardware is made by Buckle Guy, one of the leading manufacturers of leather goods hardware since 1945.
